The primary purpose of this Privacy Policy is to identify: (a) the types of information that West Coast Family Support Institute collects and maintains about visitors to the Site; (b) the purposes for which it is collected; and (c) the conditions under which it will be disclosed to third parties.   1. The types of information that West Coast Family Support Institute collects

    We will not obtain information that will allow us to personally identify you when you visit our Site, unless you choose to provide such information to us. For example, personal information such as your name, address and e-mail address will be obtained as a result of the registration process, if you choose to register. Similarly, information provided when you fill in the online forms for profile and job posting set up, BC agency directory, and messaging is collected and stored in our database on a secure server located in Canada. As well, when comments or inquiries are e-mailed to us, we store the message content and the e-mail address information so we can respond electronically.

    We do use the following information you provide when you visit the Site:

    • the date and time you accessed our Site;
    • the Internet address of the web site from which you linked to our Site;
    • the type of browser you use

  2. The purposes for which the information is collected

    The above-noted information is used to measure the number of visitors to various sections of our Site and to help us make the Site more useful to visitors.

  3. The conditions under which we will disclose information to third parties

    West Coast Family Support Institute does not publicly identify the identity or particulars relating to individuals who access, send questions or comments to our Site unless we believe in good faith that the law requires it. Password and security
You will create a username and password which will allow you to log in to the site. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the user name and password, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your user name and password. You agree to (a) immediately notify West Coast Family Support Institute of any unauthorized use of your user name and password or any other breach of security, and (b) ensure that you log out and exit from your account at the end of each session. West Coast Family Support Institute cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this Section.

West Coast Family Support Institute grants you a personal, non-transferable and non-exclusive right and license to use the Site by allowing you to create a user name and password.
